Hi, I've tried searching for the answer but the forum doesn't allow words such as "without" so I can't find the answer.

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to be able to route directly to voicemail without having to present a greeting. Bascially the IVR has the message and I want the destination if no input to be to allow the caller to leave a message. The problem I'm having is that it appears a greeting must be played, as the IVR has a couple of seconds at the end and a 'blank' voicemail greeting has a couple of seconds the caller is presented with a few seconds of silence before the 'record tone' which is not ideal.

Is there any way to work around this?

Thanks in advance

Steve

By way of update, the only way I was 'sort of' able to get this to work was to download the Empty.wav file from the IVR menu and upload it as the greeting for the voicemail. There is a noticeable silence before it actually goes to record any message but it's the only solution I can come up with in the absence of not being able to directly route to the 'record-voicemail'.

It seems that both the IVR and Voicemail elements add delays.
