Good day All,

We took over a clients VOIP system and setup 3CX for them

Running V20 pro licence with onsite SBC

Would like to know if there are features to assist with the following call flow.

We have IVR Digital Receptionist with welcome message that can connect incoming calls to extensions for sales support etc.

On their previous VOIP system there were options to dial the user extension number directly to reach the user from the welcome message.

I believe there was this feature on V18 of 3CX but can't seem to find one on V20. Options to call user by name but looks like it involves some setup on the client side.

Basically looking for an option from the IVR that callee inputs an extension code to connect directly to the users extension

There is no configuration for this.

It just works out of the box for a Digital Receptionist. Just add this into your intro prompt to prompt the caller to dial a number.

zero config!

How quick do you need to enter this?

User extension are 4 digits

Starting at 2000

So example if example prompt for 2 is to support but you want to connect to an extension 2023 will it not take 2 as the first entry and try to connect it to support?

They would have about 4-5 seconds timeout. Unless they are very slow to enter the extension number they will be forwarded to option 2.

But its not FLASH speeds.

Thanks tested on our side and it is working, will assist the client thanks for the help you may mark this as solved
