Hi there

I have a client that is using the latest V20 build of the Windows 3cx app with a Jabra 930 headset.

The headset developed a fault and has been replaced with a Jabra Evolve 65 headset which produces audio and picks up the mic but the answer button on the ear piece doesn't work properly with 3cx.

When it is pressed it just gives a report of how full the battery is and doesnt answer the call.

This wouild be ok as the answer button on the app can be pressed, however the receptionist is normally up and down the stairs and needs to answer the call whilst walking.

In the audio settings on the Windows app .the headset dropdown box just has NONE shown in it. The Jabra Mic and audio are shown in the boxes above and are selected, they work fine.

The head set is connected via bluetooth via the Jabra 390 usb dongle and not the PC bluetooth.

Any help would be appriciated.

Cheers

Dave

Is the USB dongle connected to the same PC as the softphone? If so, the headset must be selectable within the app. Only then will the button on the headset work.

Hi there.

Yes, the dongle is plugged in to the same computer as the softphone but nothing comes up in the drop down box in the 3cx audio headset settings.

I can select the headset and use it fine in 3cx once i have answered the call on the windows desktop

The headset integration is only for controlling the headset's functions, otherwise, the headset works without any issues. Is Jabra Direct installed?

Jabra direct is installed and all up to date. So is the headset firmware.

I have tried toggling the headset tick box in 3cx to see if that will kick start the handshake with the headset.

I have just tried the PWM app rather than the Windows app and that gives the same problem so im convinced its a 3cx issue.

There was a Jabra 930 in use before with no issues and all I have done is plugged in an Evolve 65 as a replacement.

Cheers
