when talking on the apps there is a delay of ~ 500ms. Why? Is this a jitter buffer, can i downsize in settings?

Are you on WiFI or 4G?
Do you have a good 4G signal?
What Codec are you using?

I'm testing local Wi-Fi between Yealink and App in the same network, same subnet. It is not a connection problem. If you call from your app on your desk phone, you have 0ms delay?

Codec 722, 711a, alwas the same problem.

To my knowledge there is no available configuratble jitter buffer in the apps like you get with deskphones:

Most IP phones can withstand 30 ms of delay & jitter before being affected, as identified a change in codec (to one which uses less bandwidth/is compressed) can help.
