Hello guys,

we are planning to implement transcription of calls within our customized CRM and wanted to ask you if there is any way how to get from recordings table value - id_recording? We are using call journaling feature so there might a way how to get it as a part of this feature?

so like to customize maybe VALUES this sql string:

INSERT INTO 3cx_journaling (CallType, Number, Agent, Duration, CallStartTimeLocal, CallEndTimeLocal) VALUES ('[CallType]','[Number]','[Agent]','[Duration]','[[CallStartTimeLocal].ToString("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss")]','[[CallEndTimeLocal].ToString("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss")]')

Any help is much appreciated.

There's no variables for the recording. This is not available.

This has been discussed many times in the forums. As noted, including recordings is not possible in the current 3CX CRM integrations, or in the CRM template. There has been some discussions recently that 3CX may add recording support in the future, but it does not exist today.

It is not at all straightforward to match recordings directly to a specific phone call, but it can be done outside of the 3CX CRM integration processes. Both @ConceptsWeb and @VoIPTools have 3rd-party solutions for handling recordings. Naturally, a 3rd-party solution it would require funding, but we can help if needed.

And is there any variable for call_id or cl_participant_id?

Does any of the 3rd party solution allowing some matching of call_ID and id_recording so it could help us implementing transcription as I described above? Or is there any know best practice to match these fields and query them?

Thank you!

There are ways we do this yes. Not exactly with the Call ID but we have ways.
