Large Increase in 3CX Annual Maintenance

Hi,

Was there a significant price increase in 3CX Perpetual Licenses and hence 3CX Annual Maintenance for Perpetual Licenses when the Annual Licensing was introduced?

I was just quoted A$951.50 Inc GST for a 3CX PRO 16SC Maintenance Renewal.

The previous renewal was A$504.00 Inc GST, and the three renewals before that were $A405.75, $A457.00 and A$400.50 respectively Inc GST.

All 5 renewal prices are from the same reseller.

Whilst I don't have the renewal prices for previous years at hand I believe they were similar numbers but they were purchased from different reseller as 3CX changed their master distributor in Australia around 6 years ago.

I would expect some increase due to CPI and some variation due to currency fluctuations, but this a significant increase in price.

Note: The current renewal is 18 months after the last as our maintenance was extended by 6 months due to the remote site issues we experienced related to the 3CX SBC Connection issues back in June 2017.

3CX has had some price increases over the years as expected because the product is maturing and there have been some additional services with ancillary costs (like FQDN, SSL and 3CX SMTP). That being said the product is still a tremendous value for the price. I would just confirm the pricing matches what you see here as there's always the possibility you were misquoted.
