License in Cloud & Local hardware at same time

I have V16 running on local hardware. I'd like to experiment with 3CX on Amazon Lightsail. When using the 3CX express it asks for your license. Should I use my existing license or create a new trial license under a different email? I don't want to impact the locally running system.

Yes , if you want to have same config take a backup from local running PBX whithout KEY and FQDN and restore on cloud with pbx express process

If you don't need same configuration then just create a new pbx from scratch with new trial key

If you need several phones connected to pbx cloud then a SBC is best idea, for test you can use it behind a 4G router , nothing needs to be set , no need to have a public static IP too.

If I wanted to connect several single phones in different locations should I use SBC or is SBC only when you have a concentration of phones in a single location, like in a remote, office?

If you want to use more than one set, at a location, then it may be best to use an SBC, it can all depend on the router, and other variables at that location. If it is just one set, then you should not require an SBC. If you are using a 3CX software "device" then it will probably be set to use the tunnel anyway.
