license issue

Hi,
Recently, I have installed 3cx with free license, but it seems the license not activating, getting below error


3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activate.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activate.3cx.com

How was the Phone System installed and what is the version that is currently running?
Also, is it installed on a Windows machine or Linux.

Hi,

It is currently running 18.0 Update 3 (Build 450)Version and it is installed on a Debian 10 Linux machine.

Hi @perez.koh,

Please note that in order for the Phone System to be able to activate, it must be running at least V18 Update 5.
The version that is currently running is not able to activate.

You will have to take a backup and redeploy the machine using the latest 3CX ISO from portal.3cx.com and restore the backup.

No, you need to use the actual ISO from the website to install the pbx. Yours are way to old.
