One of the POC customers said that the license key expired on their VM, so when they extended and re-inserted the license key, the license activation failed in the setup, and the 3CX license server could not be accessed. Can I get the 3CX server port list or the URL list to go to from the server VM? Does it happen like I said above?

What is the installed version of the PBX?

The exact build please?

I support you are on Build 18.0.9.20

From the machine are you able to resolve activate.3cx.com ?

In this case you need to check your DNS configuration.
I would suggest to set as primary DNS the Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and check again.

I can't access, btw can you send me a link ?

Which link you are referring?
This has to be checked on your local network.

You are welcome, let me know the outcome.

Hi 3cx team , I already stuck in this step and how can we solve it ?

You should censor the license key in your picture.

Also, did you fix your DNS issue that was pointed out above?

As mentioned above your issue is that from the machine you cannot resolve the activation server.
You need to check your network first and then proceed.

yes but we have already configured the firewall access with just only port list, only port list doesn't allow fully internet connection between end to end (testing server and 3CX server, activation servers.) Therefore we need to know the all destination address of 3CX in order to proceed with this process. And our client is bank that's why they can't give the full internet access to this testing as well and same config will go with production also. Thanks.

I understand you are asking what OUTBOUND firewall settings need to be set for the PBX to reach 3CX activation servers.

I don't think a list is published anywhere, but I would advise you open all outbound traffic on all ports to *.3cx.com. If you need more specific information you will need to ask 3CX, perhaps in a ticket, or perhaps TheodorosG will chime in.

Of course we can advice via a ticket however the restriction to contact 3CX servers is something that must be checked on the local firewall.

Please take a look at the screenshot below, even though we configured the destinations port list and tried everything to start the service, we are still unable to start the service. Please guide us where to look for the root of cause.01 System Server error.png
