Hi all,
Can someone explain what exactly happens after the "Annual License Key" expies?
Does the pbx still work, how many SIP trunks and locals will be supported (if any)?

Thanks

hi,
Your link points to explanation of "standard. pro and enterprise" license, there is no "free"...

regards

Hi,

What happens is you lose access to all Pro/Enterprise features, and you are limited to 8 simultaneous calls. It becomes the Standard edition as seen in the link @cobaltit posted

O.K. the missing information was that standard = free!!

thank you

Excellent! Why make it simple when you can complicate...
Still cannot understand why there are two different versions of "free" (which is also standard?!?) edition, one for 4 and one for 8 sim calls...
anyway, thanks for clarification....:)

This is actually very simple and clear... I don't know what did you misunderstand ;) there are 3 types of licenses : STANDARD / PRO / ENTERPRISE.

For each type of licence, you need to choose how many sim calls you need.

All licences have a price on the page mentioned above, and only STANDARD 4 and STANDARD 8 are free. All others are paid. What's unclear ? ;)

The 4SC was in V15.5. Since V16, it's 8SC that's free. Simple as that.

So the "Free for 3 years" that's being offered for COVID-19 relief is actually the Standard License with 8SC?

Also, when a paid license (Pro/Enterprise) reverts back to Standard, and a customer has call recordings, is access to the recordings lost, or just the ability to record calls going forward?

Hi, during covid, it's all Standard whatever the size that seem to be free for 3 years.
