Hi Forum, I wanted to extend our 3CX license today (first time), it expires today (yes i know, this should have done some days ago).
When paying, I selected bank transfer so that this would go correctly through our accounting department.

Now I saw that the license wasn't being extended straight away and wanted to pay via PayPal or credit card.
However, this is not possible due to an open order.

What should be done now?
Can i buy a new license and install over the existing one? I think over the weekend, nobody official from 3CX can help me.
Best regards, Tim

Yes you can just buy a new license and replace it.

Otherwise you have to open a ticket to get the accounting department to remove the unpaid open order.

Also, never expect anything using "bank transfer" to apply before you paid and before the payment is processed by the vendor. Always use credit cards if you need to do it quickly.

Hi ConceptsWeb,Thanks for your reply!

If I try to purchase a new license in the portal, I need to register the FQDN with IT as we self-host the 3CX. When I try this, the system tells me that the FQDN is already registered. Can you please tell me the correct sequence to purchase and register?I appreciate your response,
Tim

Buy the new license, then don't activate it yet, go into your 3CX system in the License section and use the "Replace License Key" feature. It will transfer your current FQDN to the new key.

Thanks ConceptsWeb, will try this later.
