Solved Licensing: 3CX vs Elastix

Hello,

I am trying to decide whether to use Elastix 5 (3CX-based) or 3CX for Windows.

Looking at the feature comparison in both websites, I can see that the Standard version of Elastix looks like the Standard version of 3CX:

After looking around, downloading and installing both trials, they both seem to be the exact same thing, one being based on Linux and the other on Windows.

Is that correct?

Also, does the free version provide Ring Groups? Is it the same as Call Queing for call centers? I remember that a free version of 3CX in version 15 (I think) did not include Ring Groups. I am not asking for a "There are 3 in front of you. Please wait until the next available agent is ready" call center queue, but rather a way for several extensions to ring at the same time or randomly.

3CX free version include RG, this is Q which are not included.
Free version stay 40 days in PRO( so Q are 40 days) then revert to STD with 16 SC for a year then decrease to 8SC for life until 3CX don't change their marketing ideas.

Thank you for the clarification about ring groups and call queues, aws2p.

But the other question still remains: is Elastix exactly the same, feature-wise and licensing/pricing-wise, as 3CX? Is the only difference the underlying OS?

3CX runs on Linux as well.

It's the same system so it doesn't matter which one you install. They are both available on Windows and Linux.

There is no difference between Elastix-5 and 3CX since 3CX bought the Elastix brand.
