I'm trying to find a way to prevent users from being able to put the system in out of office mode.

I have the dial code set to *90 for default, *901 of in office hours and *902 for out of office hours.

I can make outbound rules that limit dialing *901 and *902, but they don't work for *90

The use case is we have a customer that wants to allow certain managers to change the out of hours status, but prevent everyone else.

So, this there some way to prevent/block some users from accessing the *90 dial code?

Thanks

Hello @Matt Ryan

As these are system dial codes there is no way to limit the users from dialling it but you can change the dial codes to something the users are not aware so they do not dial it.

IMHO, this is a valid idea... you give it to 2 people. Someone leaves and forgets and calls so and so who is still in the building, who asks them to put it into DND mode. Oops! I gave the code away. :)

You mean other than the don't tell them policy? No
