Line Configuration

Hi

What information do you put in for line configuration, i'm in the VoIP Provider Account Details.

it asks for external number?
Authentication ID?
Authentication Password?

Thansk for any help. As I'm learning as I go along so apologies if its a daft question

You need to sign up with a provider i.e. voiptalk.org

Then you get all the detail from them.

If you're located in the US get your VOIP number from freedigits.com; they are currently providing free accounts with real US phone numbers which allow for free, unlimited incoming calls. Makes life much easier if you can easily call in with your cell phone or desk phone.
When you get your account, they will provide you with 3 pieces of info that you need to setup a line on 3CX or any SIP phone; sip proxy address, user/authentication id, and password. Then you're good to go and experiment all you want.
