Link/Join external callers

I'm not sure whether this is even a thing or ever has been within the 3CX android app but one of my users has asked where the "join" option has gone from the app?

She says it was possible, if you had two incoming calls, to be able to "join" them so that the callers would then be connected to each other and your connection would end leaving them to talk to each other? I use the 3CX app myself but have never had a requirement to do this so it's not something I've ever noticed.

Firstly, did that functionality ever exist? And if so, what has happened to it?

Hi Tom,

This is not doable if you have 2 active calls already (not doable on 3CX Phone For Windows either)

Hang up on of the two callers, then hit conference, then dial the 2nd caller from your recents.

Thanks for the response. It didn't seem like a logical thing to be able to do to me and I've certainly never noticed that functionality in the app myself. I'm not sure what my user was thinking of?

Actually, just to clarify, once they enter the conference (hosted by the PBX conference extension 700) you can exit the call and the other 2 people will still stay in the the conference and talk to each other.

I think this should achieve what the user wanted. Note though that if you try doing it again with the next 2 callers, they will also end up in the same conference room.
