LINKSYS SPA 3102 and 3CX configuration help needed

Hi All,

As I have a free landline locally, I was thinking of setting up a VOIP to PSTN in my local country to make local calls when I am overseas.

My hardware configuration is as follows:

Modem --> LINKSYS E1200 Wireless Router --> LINKSYS SPA 3102 -->Landline

I have configured my 3CX with extensions of 100 and 101 for testing. I made a test call in LAN and was able to hear both party. However, when my iPhone client is in a WAN environment, I cannot hear anything at all.

I have DMZ my server running 3cx too.

Some errors i captured in the 3cx is as follows:

Does the remote extension register properly?

It doesn't appear that it is only an audio problem, 3CX is rejecting the call completely.

I'm assuming you are using the 3CX phone for iPhone. Do you have that extension set (the option) to allow remote registrations?

I would edit your post to X out part of your public IP or you are inviting hackers.

Seems your setup design is not correct.

You simply need to put your 3CX server and the SPA-3102 in your LAN.
You connect your PSTN line to the FXO port (Line) of SPA-3102 and you may connect an analog phone to the FXS port (Phone) of SPA-3102.
You need to register the FXO port of SPA-3102 as PSTN gateway in 3CX and register the FXS port of SPA-3102 as extension in 3CX. You should follow the guidelines in 3CX blog for proper setting.

If you connect to VoIP providers or have external extensions you need to setup your router (port forwarding to 3CX internal address - ports 5060 & 5090 as TCP, 5060, 5090, 9000 - 9049 as UDP).

If your SPA-3102 is located in other location than the 3CX server different setup applies (you need to register to public address of 3CX server and to setup STUN and NAT traversal in SPA-3102.
