Linksys SPA 3102 no outgoing calls

Hi,

To be honest, I'm reading all posts related to SPA3102 but still cannot catch the magic of setting the SIP port of the device to 5061... PBX works the same way independently of the port used by device...

Can somebody explain why it may happen?

Not too sure what you mean by "the magic". The factory default port settings on the 3102 are 5060 for the FXS portion and 5061 for the FXO portion. For some reason, that is not clear to me, 3CX sets the default ports as 5062 for the gateway. Which means you have to go into the 3102 and change the port number of the FXO to match. It really doesn't matter what the port number is as long as there is no conflict with another port at the same IP and both the 3102 and 3CX match. I just don't understand why 3Cx saw fit to use/suggest port 5062 when that is not the default in the 3102.

But then, I'm not really sure why the 3102 gateway IP has to be datafilled in 3CX while an extension IP doesn't. They both have to register and at that point 3Cx has all of the info it needs.
