Linksys SPA 8000

May sound like a dumb question and I know it is not on the approved hardware list but does anyone see why the Linksys SPA 8000 should not work with 3Cx to provide multiple (8) analogue extensions? Better still has anyone used it?

I'm using one in a system that we're provisioning at the moment as a replacement for our panasonic pabx system. Works great so far though we've not had it in production yet so may discover further issues down the track. Setup looks pretty much the same as for an spa3000 if that helps.
