Solved Linux Configuration File Path

Quick Question. I have a Patton 4112 which I have generated a config file with 3CX but I need to know where this file is stored in a Debian Linux system so I can load the config file into the Patton gateway. Your instructions do not specify a path to the file.

Please note that the config files are not stored anywhere on the system but they are generated on the fly upon demand.
When you setup an FXO device and press the "Generate device config" button the management console will open a new tab to the Pattons IP and download the config file to the browser.

By pressing the ”Generate config file”, the 3CX Management Console will directly open the web interface of the Patton gateway on the “Import Configuration” page (e.g. http://192.168.9.122/imp-cfg.html). A configuration file is automatically downloaded which then needs to be saved and uploaded onto the Patton device by using the browse and import button.

Thank you for your reply and yes, I had read the instructions in your guide, but your instructions show that a file name is placed in the Patton and then you just push import and this does not happen. If, after I hit the generate config button on 3CX, it does open the Patton but there is no file name and the Patton wants me to choose a file. If I just hit the import button it just says that no file was chosen. I believe this problem is related to the fact that we have 3CX on a Debian Linux mini computer and 3CX management console is running on a Windows browser. I could be wrong but 3CX is not sending a file to the Patton to import

OK, I have the problem fixed. I noticed that when I told 3cx to generate the config file, in my browser it showed a download in progress and I just went to that location and selected the file. By the way it was in the PC's download folder. Thanks.
