Linux version security updates question

I'd like to see 3CX separate the security patches from the 3CX system updates. This is because with systems in the cloud, automatic system updates in the past have caused us trouble. Since 3CX is kind enough to patch the security part it makes sense for us to keep the sytems patched daily but turn off automatic 3CX related updates. Has anyone figured out a way to do that? In addition I'd sure like to see in the blog what issues security related were addressed which i will post to the ideas area.

If you're asking if you can turn off automatically updating 3CX, the answer is yes. You can deselect the box on the updates screen.

I always stay on top of linux patching myself. A regular log in to the console and a sudo apt-update and sudo apt-upgrade are part of administrating a linux server. OS security patches are taken care of that way.
