Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on this one?
2 sites, linked by Site to Site VPN. 2 different subnets 192.168.123.X and 192.168.10.X - Server sits on .123 subnet. remote site is on the .10 Had an internet outage for a few hours on the remote site but when it came back up all handsets on the .10 sunbet were blacklisted for 'too many failed authentications. Obviously by clearing them down all is well. Just wondering what might cause this. Any advice?

Did you refresh credentials prior?

Hi David,

The remote subnet was down, the connection would take a little time to re-establish and settle, and I imagine quite a bit of traffic would have to be processed at that time or perhaps there was some loss.

I speculate the phones were retrying too much over a not yet stable connection and ended up being blacklisted

Yeah, though along similar lines myself. I've requested some info from the ISP to see how much downtime and fluctuations in connections during this time. Cheers.

I would consider whitelisting any local networks.
