Hi,

We have a custom SIP trunk where the destination peer has a public IP.
We need to use our local (internal IP) in SDP, but 3CX replaces it to public.

"Local IP Address (OS Default Route)" trunk option is not working in this case.
We can't use "Use this IP Address" trunk option since we have a failover configured and this setting will migrate to standby server.

Is there any chance to fix it?

P.S.
As a temporary workaround we have configured external static IP with internal address. But it's not correct.

Hi @DXC

The option will add your local IP if the target is local but will switch to your public IP if the target is public so what you want to so is only possible by using the "Use this IP Address" trunk option.

Why exactly does a public provider want to see your local IP in the SDP though? How would they know where to send the audio?
I think your best solution is to switch to a 3CX supported provider who are tested and settings are included in their included templates.

The reason is VPN (private network, not provider).
The solution is LOCALSUBNETS parameter.

The issue is resolved.

Glad to see you were to resolve the issue although I would narrow down the changes to the providers IP to avoid any issues in the future.
