Our 3CX installation is a local-only configuration. The 3CX server and all extensions are on a local, internal network. We use an external VoIP provider (viop.ms) and have a Patton gateway for a single POTS line. We don't need auto-provisioning of phones. It's a very simple setup compared to most! Given that, do I still need a FQDN and SSL certificate? I'm aware that I would no longer be able to get software updates (right?).
Thanks for the help!
