Location of Chat Logs

Hi, I have logging turned on, but I am noticing in the 3CX \Instance#\Data\Chat folder, it remains empty. Is there a log file that can be viewed on the filesystem without having to go into the management console?

Chat logs are actually stored in the database so you will need to access the Management Console to see them. You could also get a csv file with the raw chat messages data from within the 3CX's backup file. The file is in the backup's "Dbtables" folder.

Note: I strongly recommend against restoring from any backup files that have been accessed for any reason. If you will be accessing a 3CX backup file, make sure you make a copy of it first and then completely delete it when done.
