logging calls for billing purposes

Hey All,

does anyone know if 3CX can do call logging so that you can then bill calls to customers? A reasonably priced addon would be ok.

It's got reports and logging but not enough for billing purposes. An add-on shouldn't be that hard to do. You can do a call log report with these outputs:
date, source, destination, duration. You can filter them by source or destination and also based on duration. This is exportable to csv for fun in Excel.

If you don't mind some extra leg work then this should work for you.

Is this for a law firm? They have special needs even down to entering client matter numbers before they could even dial.

Hey Rob,
your suggestion wont work for the type of logging required. Its a start up marketing company so they need to bill very much like a law firm and track all calls and then apply them to a client account. We are not talking technical giants here so this needs to be a simple solution

Could you do the tracking through the VoIP provider records?

Their VoIP account may already have this type of capability?
