is there a way to turn off case sensitive login into the web client when using the email address as the username?

Can I chime in on this thread please?
Is there a way to remove the email address as the username from the Welcome Email? It doesn't work for some of our users and the good old extension number always works.

Could it be it isn't working for some users because of case sensitivity?

What we did is just synced everything in our exchange, AD, and 3CX server. Still, would be a nice feature in the future.
