Hello
We have a Paxton Access Control gate and intercom which rings a SIP extension when someone's at the door.
I'd like the SIP server to wait a couple of seconds before ringing the extensions, so that on-prem people can respond via the intercom before the call gets pushed to all the extensions.
I tried creating a Dummy extension and setting its forwarding rules and timeout value, but this fails as this is not a registered extension and defaults to the "If I am busy or my phone is unregistered, forward calls to..." option.
Is there another way to set up a delay on the call? A global setting is fine as well, since this 3CX instance is used only for this purpose.
Or maybe there is a way to fake-register the extension so that it takes the timeout into account?
Curious how you guys would solve this.
Thanks for the ideas
Kind regards
