Customer is reporting issues with two phones they have, when they are in the middle of a conversation the phones will randomly switch over to loud speaker, in some cases they have issues turning this off, issue is only happening on 2 out of 15 phones.

Make: Grandstream
Model: GRP2613
Fw Version: 1.0.7.33.

Any ideas what would cause this or are these just two randomly faulty phones that need replacing?

We have had a similar issue with Yealink T54W's, we seem to have luck sorting the issue, when we factory reset the phone and then reassign it to the user it seems to work again. Very Strange!

However our issue is a bit different, the phone switches automatically to loudspeaker and will not come off this until the factory reset is done

Staff here are having similar issues they can't get it off loud speaker without essentially rebooting the phone, I will try and reset and reprovision of the device and see what happens.

Exact PBX version where this is happening please?

Hi Johns,

I'm not actually dealing with this issue anymore, it's been passed on and I can't remember the site name but I believe the version they were on is ver20 if that helps.

And how about your case is it also on V20?

Are there things we are not aware of like:
- custom phone templates
- custom phone settings on devices
- external headsets used?
- EHS (electronic hook switch) used?
- older firmware being used?

Also v20, update 2. No headsets or EHS being used and most up to date firmware 96.86.0.81 on yealink t54w. No custom settings or templates used whatsoever.

Thanks. In this case I think you should contact Yealink support and follow up with them to troubleshoot.
