this is for my luxembourgish friends, being clients at P&T and wanting to get rid of their Fritzbox for the telephony part.
This took me some time to find out as it is documented nowhere and I tried by chance the infornation I found on a german provider.
I hope this is usefull to some of you.
If you want to add your phone number as a SIP trunk you first have to hold your credentials, which are normally not communicated by your provider, nor can be found in the GUI of the Fritzbox.
So, if you need them, just export the config of your Fritzbox, while noting the password of your export.
With this tool https://www.mengelke.de/Projekte/FritzBox-JSTool and the password you choose while exporting, you can easily decrypt it and a fulltext-search with your phone number shoud help you to quickly find the password of your SIP account.
In 3CX configure a custom trunk with the following settings:
Registrar: voip.dt.ept.lu
Proxy: residential.dt.ept.lu
Number of SIM calls: 1 for me, probably 3 if you pay for the option
The registration is registry/account based and uses 3-way authentication password!
Authenication ID: YourPhoneNumber
Authentication Password: the password you found in your Fritzbox configuration and finally
3-way authentication password: [email protected]
The rest of the configuration (inbound rules, outbound rules, port forwarding / firewall settings ... can be easily found here in the forum.
3CX runs very well as a VM on e.g. a Synology Diskstation which might be running at your home anyway.
