Greetings all,

On macOS Big Sur, I have a chrome web page constantly opened on our 3CX Webclient in the background.
Whenever someone chat with me, I never receive the notifications BUT if I open the Chrome page and go to the web client TAB.

I checked Chrome settings / Privacy / Site settings / Notifications / company website, and NOTIFICATIONS are allowed. So is JavaScript and PopUps.

Anyone know what could be the issue?

Hi,

This is probably not the problem here, you need to allow Chrome to send notifications since the OS is blocking them. Go to Mac OS Settings > Notifications > Chrome. you will probably find two entries for Chrome

- Enable Banners on one entry
- Enable Alerts on the other entry

You can also enable audio notifications from the Webclient settings to hear a sound when messages arrive.

@JohnS_3CX ,
Thank you for the info. I do have two entries, and both were setup to Banners.
I switched one to Alerts. I will get back to you this post later to give a feedback.

This did the trick. Thank you.

Glad to hear :)
