I'm really enjoying the new MacOs Desktop App, but I have one major gripe.

When you open the app it also adds a 3cx Icon to the menu bar at the top of the screen which is also great, EXCEPT that the icon is accompanied by the words "3CX Desktop App". Please, please, please remove the words. The icon is enough (every other menu bar app is only an icon or you have the options show or hide the words).

It looks awful and it takes up so much space (the same amount as four other menu bar icons)... see the attached screen shot.

Finally while I'm here, I can't remove the icon from the menu bar (unless I close the app) what's this about? It should be an option to show in the menu bar or not.

Please 3CX your icon is recognisable enough... I don't need it to tell me its your desktop app too!

Hi @VasilisV_3CX,

That link doesn't work for me and if I do a search on "Option to remove text" I have no results returned.

So, if this has been asked for previously, can you tell me if this is on the MacOs Desktop App's enhancement list or raodmap?

Kind regards,

Sorry, it's my mistake! I'll paste the response here:

That answer is a pity and very short-sighted... Guess I'm going back to the web app unit it's fixed.
