I have a problem with Mail Server. I can't send welcome e-mails and notifications.
I use this e-mail with Thunderbird and everything is fine (send and receive messeges), but I want to use this account for my 3CX PBX to send welcome messeges and notifications. Try to enable SSL/TLS but do not succeed. Try to specify port 465 doesn't matter. I attached screens with account settings in Thinderbird and screen from 3CX PBX.
I will be glab for any help. Thank You.

If someone use gmail or other free mail server, let share his expirience

Did you tell 3CX who your e-mailprovider is?
Settings > General > Mail Server

Yes, I enter mail server, user name and all other data - same as thunderbird account.

Hi,

As far as I know you have to specify the port number if you don’t use the default SMTP port number 25.
If you enable SSL/TLS or use another SMTP port you also have to specify the port number in the Mail Server field. In your case something like mbox.contact.bg:465 or mbox.contact.bg:587

Yes, I try what you say, and posted screens, but I make again and post results again:

I had that same error message once trying to use IIS SMTP Server.
I changed to an Office 365 connector and it went away.
I never had time to wireshark it, but was happy using 365 for transport.
A wireshark log may give a better error.

Thank You for your posts. When I have a time may try Wireshark. Is any use free mail server like googlemail for mail server? I will be glad to share his expirience in that forum . Thank You again

I do not succeed to establish connection with smtp server of my ISP, and decide to use gmail. I attach screen with smtp settings of gmail.com
