Our phone system seems to be ringing itself somehow.

We have incoming calls coming every 10 minutes.

Each time it is a different number on the caller ID.

It started with 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. It is now up to 1007.

When the calls come in the SIP trunk line lights up and says that there is an incoming call. I have checked with our privider and they say that no calls are coming though them at the times that it is happening.

I have tried to look for the originating IP of the call but all I can find is the call logs which only show a caller ID.

Any idea on what we can do to troubleshoot this issue?

Dear gunners,

Are you using very short DIDs for your inbound rules ? For example:

*1
*00
*222

If this is the case, please proceed and change your DIDs in their larger version with * followed by six numbers.
