Just started today.

when someone calls in. i get a error msg saying A error occured in IVR session sorry. I get the same error when i dial that ext
I also can't call VM same error msg
I can make outbound calls.

There is nothing in the logs that look out of place

All services are running. i have restarted them no luck. i have restarted the server no luck
i am looking at System Ext everything is running. I can dial into a conf. But not IVR or VM

PBX is complex software and 3CX makes a nice GUI for such a complex thing. As much as it hurts you might have to slow down and througly look into to how to setup it up. It took me a few days.

Hi,
can you please send me all the logs in verbose mode please.
Also what operating system are you using and which web server,
IIS or Cassini?
Thanks

i reinstalled 3cx and it's working now.

If you're running Cassini, this is the logging bug that prevents Cassini from starting. Read this thread for the solution:

http://www.3cx.com/forums/cannot-start-the-web-server-8649.html#p72599

After you clear the logs, restart the Utildev Cassini webserver.

I had the same problem with a Windows 2003 x64 installation on IIS. No matter how many times I reinstalled it would not work. I finaly installed 3CX using Cassini and all is well.

This happened to us again this morning. twice in two weeks now after system had been running smoothly for a couple of months. A caller calls in and received the message "an error occured in IVR session sorry" then is disconnected. this is a latest version 9 install with abysis. Any ideas?
Randy

I tried several suggestions from the forum without success, but I got it working by just restarting the Abyss service. In our case the IVR suddenly stopped working overnight.
