Make Call by Web Service

Hello.

Is there a way to use 3CX web service to make a call?

My challenge is make a call from third party application that sends XML form from application server to 3CX server.

Hello @Gioal,

We don't have any REST API at the moment. We're working on a new API to do this, but it's not available yet, and there is no ETA for it.

You can use, however, the 3CX Call Control API to make calls from a .NET Core program. This program can also provide a REST interface, so it receives a REST invocation from your app, and then makes the call. But you need to create this REST > .NET translator.

We are also in need of this API for an app that was planned. Back in November the documentation and API seemed to be available but reference urls no longer seem available.

Has this capability been removed?

Thank you for the update. Assuming we have access to the help file and samples that were previously downloaded and since API is still available to be used I am assuming that we can develop against these apis?

Is the documentation available via the partner program? Is there another API that provides similar capability? We are an integrator that has out of the box implementations for around 20 telephony systems to various other systems and are looking to add a full featured 3cx integration capability and are in need of server side APIs including call control to provide all the desired functionality.

That is correct, you can develop using this API.

The documentation is not available at the moment, not sure if it will be published again after updating if for v16... And this is the only server side API we have at the moment.
