Hi all

hope everyone is well ?

im new to this forum.

i have a question whereby i have a client wanting to make us of the 3CX as an outgoing call echange... so to speak.

so example: they currently have an alcatel PBX that they want to connect to the 3CX as a means of outgoing calls.
i have managed to get the Alcatel to register successfully to the 3CX bridge... but i am having no luck when trying to make a call from the Alcatel.

is this possible? and if so... could someone kindly point me in the right direction.

many thanks
Andy

It should work, but will require that 3CX outbound rules match the digits being sent. Make use of the 3CX Activity Log to see what is happening with the calls currently.

We have tried this unsuccessfully with a Siemens ISDX system and failed, even though the ISDX was sending in all the digits required to the 3CX to dial out the 3CX just see's it as an unidentified incoming call.

Hello @AndyK

You may also find the following article interesting. It explains how to bridge an Asterisk system to 3CX but it shows what 3CX expects for this to work
