Hello,

I recently resolved an issue regarding outbound calls, as detailed in this thread:> https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...le-to-make-outbound-calls.126003/#post-595295

The solution involved prepending "1" in the Outbound rule settings to accommodate 10-digit numbers. However, when reviewing call history on the phone, the numbers display with the "1" added.

My Outbound Rules are configured to handle 10-digit numbers. So, dialing from call history isn't functioning.

My question is: Is there a way to configure the system so that dialing from call history works seamlessly while automatically adding the "1" prefix when dialing a 10-digit number manually?

Thank you for your assistance.

You can also create an 11 digit rule which doesn't prepend anything!

Awesome! Thank you! :)

I wasn't sure you could make a second Outbound rule like that using the same trunk.

Oh yes, it is entirely possible. You can be very intricate with the outbound rules. Some people may even go to the level of prepending the area code if someone still has a 7-digit number saved in a contact somewhere.

Just take care sometimes as the outbound rules are processed in a top-down, 1st match type scenario. This might clash with an existing rule. Just move the rules up or down accordingly.
