Hi,

It seems my 3cx server has been overrun bij spam as i have got hundreds of "ip blacklisted" emails. But now i can't access my managament console anymore due to "too many incorrect attempts" This has been going on for days, so waiting 24hrs or so didn't seem to do the trick. Looked at the forum posts with possible solutions like try it via external ip adress, but im still getting the error.

Options that do seem to work:
- Login the webclient
- SSH via Google cloud

Any way to regain access via SSH or the webclient? Or anything else i can try?

Thank you!

This can happen if you have been restrictive with who can access the admin console.

Did you set up admin console restrictions via IP? If so, did you remember to include your own WAN IP?

if this is what you have done, you'll need to contact 3CX Support for further assistance.

Maybe @JohnS_3CX can help.

yes i think i included console restrictions via IP and probably with my own WAN indeed. So i need to create a support ticket?

Yes you need to speak with 3CX Support for this if you've blacklisted yourself out of the PBX.

ok, but how could i have blacklisted myself out of the PBX if my WAN hasn't changed? Also now i'm wondering, if i did have a restriction on my WAN i shouldn't see the management console login screen when trying to login via a different IP right? So that might not be the issue?

Maybe you met the threshold of your blacklisting requirements and it's stuck your IP in the blacklist?

Maybe another admin turned it on?

Try a web browser in incognito to see if that helps.

you will still see mgmt console if you're blacklisted or not.

if your whitelisted IPs are not in this menu then you wont get access to your mgmt console.

You should still see the login screen even if the IP was blacklisted or you enabled console restrictions.

So if you cannot even reach the login screen, check the current public IP of the machine and try to log in using that IP ie. https://{publicIP}:{port}
