Management Console on another PC same network

Hi I've seen this thread http://www.3cx.com/forums/remote-access-of-management-console-8375.html and wanted to access the management console on my 3CX computer (192.168.0.9) on another computer on the same network. I've tried both of the address formats suggested in this thread on a remote pc but neither seemed to work for me. I'm using v10 of the free software on Windows XP Pro SP3 machines. Can anyone help?

try by typning in the address as seen below, For some reason you always have to use the enitre address the fist time accessing the web gui from a different machine on the network.

http://192.168.0.9:5000/Mainform.

And if you are talking about the "Windows Mangement Console" it is an executable, so I do not think it can be used on another machine.
For the "web" version of the console: http://<pbx ip>:5000/MainForm.wgx

If you absolutely. positively, had to access the actual Management Console, when web access "just won't do" you might try using VNC client and server.
