I would like to know how I can change the timeout for the Management Portal and the WebClient Portal time out to a longer period. In the Blog (https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/changing-web-interface-timeout/) I see that there is a way, but when I browse to C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Http\Interface There is no file web.config. Looks like the blog is 2012, so I'm wondering if this blog is no longer valid and something has changed.

Timeout for what? Sessions?

This isn't controlled by a file lol

Time out meaning it logs out. If you would click on the link that I provided you will see the blog

I did see it.

It's from 2012, when 3CX was Windows-only, running via IIS.

Things have changed since then. The Webclient shouldn't log you out as far as I know so perhaps it's a browser extension or setting that does that.

As for the management console, the timeout is 1h and cannot be changed, as it's not in a file but in the code.

Since I see that your a silver partner may I suggest that 3cx be notified to remove the blog. If it’s no longer valid my opinion is that it should be removed.
