So, now I'm on v16 and all my Grandstreams are doing the same thing as outlined here. Now I need a custom template to disable this horrible feature - and reprovision 100 phones - copy MAC, delete phone, add new phone, select custom template, paste Mac address, change the phone settings, save.
It is absurd that trying to do a Multicast Page - a function that 3cx has built into their system, puts the Page on hold right away - broadcasting music thru the entire building. And the only way to stop it seems to be from the Management Console.
Please please please 3cx. Consider adding this to the features that can be changed at the extension level instead of requiring a custom template. The default value of this is 0 - but for some reason the template sets the value to 10. Since 3cx puts the multicast listener into position 1 - and the value of barge is set to 10 - it will always happen.
<!-- Paging Barge. 0 - Disable, 1 - priority 1, 2 - priority 2, 3 - priority 3, -->
<!-- 4 - priority 4, 5 - priority 5, 6 - priority 6, 7 - priority 7, 8 - priority 8, -->
<!-- 9 - priority 9, 10 - priority 10. Default is 0. -->
<!-- Number: 0 - 10 -->
<!-- Mandatory -->
