Migrate from Google Cloud to on site server

Hi,

We're planning on migrating our customer from Google cloud to an on site server. They don't have any physical phones connected at the moment - they are just using mobile apps and web client.

Am I right in thinking I just need to take a backup, shut down the Google instance, install 3CX on the new server using the license key of the original and then restore the backup? Once installed on site the phones will be connected to the local LAN.

Nearly correct

Backup 3CX
Shutdown Google instance
Install 3CX using the backup of 3CX (step 1 of the wizard)

You may have to setup spilt DNS for your fqdn to point to the internal 3CX server,

If it's not a 3CX ENT license key you use, then you will have to wait few hours until DNS propagation for FQDN to resolve on new local Static Public IP

If you take a full backup the key will be contained within, so during the setup web configuration tool stage, you can provide your backup and it will restore everything.

Just remember to take care of your firewall settings for the trunk and clients to work
