Migration 3cx System from a Different Provider/Host

Hi Guys,

I have to Migrate our system that is hosted by a different provider.
I Created our environment in our DC and the phones are behind sbc and most people use the softphone.
When I backup the 3cx system I have to leave the key and FQDN outside of backup until the current provider release the key?
The FQDN is a custom setup by the provider. Can I have the FQDN changed for the 3cx.net ?

Hi @l30,

Yes, you can backup and leave out the key and FQDN details, release the FQDN from your customer portal, then reinstall the new one and select the FQDN you wish to move forward with.

You can release your FQDN by logging in to your customer portal and clicking Subscriptions >> <license key number> >> Release.

When reinstalling, you will be able to pick your FQDN domain during installation.
