We are currently trying to migrate our 3CX phone system from a windows 2012 server VM to a windows 2019 server VM in order to use v16.
I created a backup from the management console on the old VM and went through the whole process of installing 3CX v16 onto the new machine and then selecting "Restore an existing backup configuration" during the setup phase.
I changed the IP addresses in the router and the DNS to point towards the new VM.
When the restore process completed, I looked through the console and noticed none of the phones were there (The phones we use are Yealink T26s) but all the extensions and the other settings that we had were fine.
I wasn't able to simply add the phones again to the extensions as it claimed that "This MAC belongs to another phone on this extension" and whenever the old server was turned off, none of the calls came through via the new server.
If anyone could provide some insight into this, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
