Minimum Internet Speed of 3CX

May I know what is the minimum internet speed by 3CX? Let's say I have a 3CX Server and 4 IP Phones and each IP Phones has a dedicated Agent and each uses WebClient.

Hi Arnie,

There is no specific minimum, as it will depend on how many users and how they are connected as well as what trunks and codecs you use. It's not a simple question.

The system will use the connection for many things. These are some (not all):

- App users (mobile/desktop)
- Webclient users
- Provisioning of all the above users
- Remote Extensions
- SBC connections
- Bridges
- System updates
- Firmware updates
- Cloud backups

The articles @leejor shared are very good starting points to at least calculate the bandwidth that 4 simultaneous users will need, but also remember that the trunks will also use bandwidth.
As for the webclient, it uses bandwidth when you load the page, and then a little bit to keep up with the changes.

The definitive answer to your question will require some measurements too, so if you have a bandwidth meter on your PBX side it will give you a good indication while you run your tests.
