Solved Missing Notification Option: The registration status of an extension changes

Hello, it seems after 16.0.5.611 the notification option under Settings --> E-mail --> Notifications "The registration status of an extension changes" has been removed. My sales rep mentioned this was removed from all editions (Standard, Pro, and Enterprise), but suggested I verify via the Forums.

The attached PDF highlights the option in question.

Has this feature been removed from all editions or is it still available and, if it is still available, where can I locate it?

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a feature but yes that option is gone.

As @cobaltit said, it indeed has been removed. One of the reasons was because it resulted in many false-positives regarding 3CX endpoint registrations.

Thank you both for replying; I appreciate the information. Is there a manual way I could turn that option back on for our specific instances? The false positive characteristic didn't seem to manifest for us and we could link the alerts with our other monitoring systems so it was a useful option for sure. It helped in few occasions to prompt proactive equipment replacements or other counter measures before users were impacted. We sort of used it as an addendum to our QoS probe reports. If there's not a way, that's OK too, but if there is a manual way we can turn it back on, that'd be ultra helpful.

Alternatively, is there anything noticeable that occurs on the server itself with registration status changes for which we could watch? If, for example, I was running a 3rd party application on the server to watch for the change, is there anything such as file existence, file contents, etc. that could be watched? We typically run these on Debian if that makes a difference.

Lastly, if the above is not possible, is there another best practice that could be suggested if we wanted to track registration status changes?

There is currently no way of re-enabling this specific notification alert, nor is there one specific type of event or file created/amended on the 3CX PBX that would signify this type of event.
