Surprised I can't find a similar question on the forums but is there any reason there appears to be missing settings options on Linux installs ?

Comparing to a Win instal, "Fax Server", "License", "Network", "Parameters" and "Templates" are all unavailable from the Settings section.

Are there any reasons I can't access these options as surely "Templates" is a key option ?

I am logged in as the admin account and all service packs have been installed on both Win and Linux systems.

Thanks in advance.

Hello @shedster99

Is this a 3cx hosted PBX installed using PBX Express? If this is the case then these options are not available in Settings. Fax Server should be there though.

No Marios, it's hosted within our chosen DC provider, Fasthosts.

From the Dashboard if you click on Licence, are you taken to the Licence Settings? Or nothing happens? Also, what kind of licence is shown in the Dashboard?

Hi Marios, clicking the Licence option from the dashboard does nothing...

Currently displayed as : "Standard Annual 15.5.10244.4"

This is the same about 6 Linux installs, not just this one box.

Can you send me a PM with the FQDN and licence Key of one of those machines?

I had one doing the same thing hosted on Google.
I deleted it and did the process again and now have the options.

It's on about half a dozen installs though Craig, all live so that's probably a no-go :(

@YiannisH_3CX

Indeed we did, just tested and when logging in as that account "License", "Network" and "Parameters" are all there - thanks !

"Fax Server" and "Templates" however remain hidden somewhere...?

Glad to see that was the issue. However Fax server should be visible to the normal admin. It is visible in mine. Clear the browser cache and try again perhaps it is a display issue.
Templates however are not visible when running a hosting admin account, so the ability to create a custom template from the management console is limited.

Bingo...almost ;-)

You were right about the browser cache, thanks, Fax Server is now there however...are you saying if we create a Hosting Admin account, Templates are no longer available ?

I've just spun up a new server and did not create the "hosting account" and everything is exactly where it should be...

Every day is a school day !

Thanks for your help.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved
