Mitel 5320/5340 Template

Looking for a Mitel 5320/5340 provisioning template for 3CX to help facilitate a move for a potential customer away from their existing Mitel solution.

Customer has invested ££££s in Mitel handsets, but are not happy with the phone system. They would ideally like to use their existing handsets if possible.

Those sets don't get a lot of mention on the forums, so a template may be hard to come by. A few years ago I worked with a couple of similar models but used the GUI to provision, which is OK for a few sets. Because the set is not "officially" supported, even with a template, many of the more advanced features may be lacking, or simply not function as expected.
While it is great to be able to save money and re-use existing sets with a new PBX, sometimes it just isn't going to happen. You may have to prepare a contingency plan.

Thanks Leejor for your response, and thought that this may be the response.

Getting the phones to work for basic calling wasn't an issue and the connection was pretty straight forward.

Phones currently shows as 'unprovisioned'.

If a set is provisioned manually, then 3CX is probably going to consider the device as unprovisioned as no file has been created or sent to it. These days, unless it is a very small set-up, it is assumed that all devices are auto-provisioned. What really counts is that the device(s) show as registered so are able to place and receive calls.
