MMS outbound not being delivered

Hello All,

We have SMS/MMS setup between 3CX and Telnyx. SMS has been working fine. We noticed that outbound MMS messages are not being delivered all the way through. I do see the message being sent out via Telnyx and the webhook does provide a valid URL. Has anyone else run across this issue? We tried various sized messages with the same result.

Any guidance is appreciated.

PBX version?

Not all file types nor sizes are supported and it defers from provider to provider.

Since you mention only outbound, is that to say that inbound MMS work? Let's say you try to send an MMS to a specific destination but it fails, does trying to send an MMS back (inbound) from that same destination work(Ideally the same exact image should be tested)? Also, is this happening for all outbound MMS with no exceptions?

First thing I'd recommend checking is what @Frederick Marcoux mentioned, especially the size.

It does appear to be size related. Low and behold, 3CX just released a beta iOS app that supports automatic compression.....and it works! There also is a windows client non-beta that supports the same feature. Happy MMSing.
