Hi,

I just recently replaced a Mobotix T25 with a T26 with latest software version 4.9.9-r1 (due to frame etc. only upgraded the model) and now it seems that video is indeed working for iOS and Android apps.

However, the phone app does not open the video immediately (or ask if video should be shown), I need to manually click video call icon instead.

Is this normal or is there a way to change this?

On the old T25 video still seems to fail using the app, although it works if I directly connect e.g. a Fanvil V65 - but I guess the issue is the H.264 encoding of the T25 which is not native and only available for SIP.

This changed with the T26 so it is nice to finally get video working but would be nice if it shows automatically.

@N_G As you were involved in the previous thread regarding T25 https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...t25-not-working-any-ideas.123976/#post-608197 . Any ideas why it might be necessary to manually click the video button or what I should change to make that step unnecessary?

A bit of topic as it is actually related to the iOS app but:

I have done some more testing and on iOS the prompt seems to show up to switch to video. However, it seems to depend on how I accept the call.

If I accept the call from the lock screen and press the 3CX icon, the prompt shows up there.

On the other hand, the video icon is disabled if a call is received using iOS and only pressing the iOS icon - which requires face ID -seems to work. I guess this is an iOS limitation? Or is there a setting to change it? Especially, as it seems to immediately switch to code entry if face ID is not recognized.

If so, I guess the current Android behavior with pressing the video icon is correct currently?

However, I am happy that it works now at all with the T26.

Everything else are minor inconveniences or improvement possibilities.
